Judson F Eneas
Judson F. Eneas, MD Biography

Judson F. Eneas, MD is founder and Medical Director of RenalMed Associates Medical Center; he established private practice in the beautiful Island of Nassau, The Bahamas in 1986. Dr. Eneas obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics, Summa Cum Laude from Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee in 1967. He subsequently obtained his Medical Degree from the University of California in San Francisco, California in 1971.

He then spent one year at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia studying Internal Medicine. In 1973 Dr. Eneas joined the United States Naval Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina where he served as the Director of the Hypertension and Diabetes Clinic for two years. In 1975 Dr. Eneas returned to the University of California where he continued his studies in Internal Medicine, becoming Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1976. He then spent two years at the San Francisco General Hospital doing a fellowship in Renal Disease and qualified for Board Certification in Nephrology in 1978. Dr. Eneas practiced Nephrology in San Francisco for eight years, on staff at 8 different hospitals. In 1986 he returned to Nassau to establish Dialysis services at Doctors Hospital.

He has served as Chairman of the Medical Staff at Doctors Hospital and as a member of the Board of Directors and is now Chairman of the Department of Medicine. In addition to nephrology, his diverse training and experience include the field of internal medicine. Dr. Eneas’s vast knowledge and experience in nephrology and other medical disciplines permits him to provide top quality medical care to his patients. He is frequently praised by medical staff, colleagues, patients, and employees alike for his compassion and dedication.
