Nurse Cavel has embraced the highest standards of nursing excellence set by the profession. She is a registered nurse of eleven years which includes seven in hemodialysis. She has prior experience in medical/surgical nursing, psychiatry and is a licensed mid-wife. Cavel has worked in hospital, out-patient and primary care settings. She worked in the renal unit at the University Hospital of The West Indies in Jamaica before transferring to RenalMed Associates Dialysis Unit in Nassau, The Bahamas.

Cavel is proficient in the assessment and monitoring of both acute and chronic patients requiring hemodialysis. She provides continuing education to patients in an effort to improve their health and maintain wellness. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Kaplan University. She obtained certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Basic Life Support, and Electrocardiogram Course, through Doctors hospital Nassau, The Bahamas. As a member of the American Nephrology Nurses association, she remains up to date with current issues pertaining to renal patients, ways to improve their health, and measures for best practicing.

In-addition, Cavel plays an integral role in providing high-quality, innovative, evidence-based care within an environment of integrity and respect to patients, coworkers and physicians.
